  • I'm registered and looking forward to going. It will be my first time on campus! While neither my wife or I have ever stepped foot on campus, we both have a very special connection to the place. When Brigham Young asked my Wife’s Great, Great Grandfather, Thomas E. Ricks, to go settle the Rexburg area in Idaho and start an academy there (that would later become Rick’s College and then BYU-I), he sent my Great, Great Grandfather, James H. Martineau, along as a surveyor. I have often wondered what those two men must have talked about on that long horse ride out into what was then the middle of nowhere.

    • That's a very cool tie to Rexburg, Dallas. We certainly hold Brother Ricks with high regard here. We're excited to meet you face-to-face this June! I recall you from one of our new instructor orientations...have a great first semester!

      • Thank you!

  • Woot! All registered!
