When are the payroll dates for the Summer Session 2018?

When will I receive my Certification pay?


You will receive $300 for the Certification Training in your first payroll deposit.


How will I be able to access my payroll information?


You are able to access payroll information through the University system (Workday)


How do I make changes to my federal and state withholdings or direct deposit?


  • Federal and state withholdings
    • Make federal and state changes through the “pay” worklet in your Workday account.

    • OR submit an updated federal W4 and state withholding form (if applicable) to Becky McKnight in the Payroll Office at
  • Direct deposit information can be changed directly within your employee account in Workday.



What is the online instructors sick leave policy?



What if I am temporarily (longer than 2 weeks) leaving my current approved state due to a work assignment, spouse’s education or extended vacation, etc?


A BYU-Idaho online instructor must be physically residing in one of our 21 approved states (regardless of residency) in order to accept a teaching agreement. Otherwise, you may be in violation of your contract. Please email for guidance with your specific situation.
